I’m Emma, the maker behind Emmy Lou. From my kitchen table in Kimbolton, New Zealand, I handcraft each piece with care and creativity. I love the process of hunting through op shops and second-hand stores for beautiful old wool blankets, each with its own history and charm.

Once found, I pair them with colour-coordinated cotton linings and bring them back to life as cosy coats, vests, and other one-of-a-kind garments. Every piece is cut, stitched, and finished by hand — slow-made with attention to detail and a love for natural fibres.
